Member Society of the IFNS
The Chinese Society of Plant Nematologists (CSPN) was founded in 1996. The total membership is now around 120. The society’s objectives are to promote communication, education and research in nematology.
Nematology activities were previously organised by the Chinese Society of Phytopathogenic Biologists, founded in 1985 as a forum for researchers of plant fungi, bacteria, nematodes and viruses. The 1st National Symposium on Plant Nematology was held in 1990 in Guangxi Province.

Summer 2016
The 13th Chinese Nematology Symposium will be held at Kunming city, Yunnan province, China during August 10-13, 2016.
