in 1969. Presently, the Society has almost 400 members in
India and abroad. Drs. D.J. Raski, A.R. Seshadri, Gopal
Swarup, C.L. Sethi and M.S. Jairajpuri are Honorary Fellows
of the NSI.

Events
A biennial symposium is held by NSI.
The Nematological Society of India is organizing the "National
Conference on Innovations in Nematological Research for
Agricultural Sustainability - Challenges and A Roadmap Ahead"
during 23 -25 February, 2010, at the Department of Nematology,
Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, India.

The Nematological Society of India organised the symposium
on 'Nematology in 21st Century: Emerging Paradigms' at Assam
Agricultural University, Jorhat, Assam, India during 22-23
November 2007.
Publications
The Indian Journal of Nematology (ISSN 0303-6960)
was launched in 1971 and is published twice yearly by the
society. It has recently undergone a revamp in layout style.
