IFNS: Fostering Communication Between Nematologists Worldwide
The International Federation
of Nematology Societies is a global organization of 14 affiliated
societies. The IFNS was established in 1996 during the Third
International Nematology Congress (in Guadeloupe). That Congress
and two earlier International Nematology Congresses (1984,
1990) were sponsored jointly by three societies: the European
Society of Nematologists, the Organization of Nematologists
of Tropical America, and the Society of Nematologists.
This website provides information on nematodes and the
science of nematology, the affiliated nematology societies,
and the next International Congress of Nematology. The site
also provides various services to nematologists, mostly
as a global node from which to post and exchange information.
The purpose of this website is to enhance the international
community's awareness of the science of nematology and to
provide various services to nematologists, mostly as a global
node from which to post and exchange information. For additional
information, contact any of the Officers of IFNS or those
of affiliated societies, or visit the web sites of those
societies.
